Location

The windmill is located in an idyllic location on the top of Argos Hill near Mayfield in Sussex (grid reference: TQ571283). At 605ft this is the highest point for miles around. The full address is:

Opening Times

The windmill is not currently open to the public as it is in a dangerous condition, but it can be viewed from the road.

Directions

Car parking is very limited near the mill, so it is recommended to park at the junction of the B2101 with the A267. The road opposite the Bicycle Arms has been closed and there is room for about three cars. From there walk up the hill for about 150 metres to the crossroads. Turn left and the mill is 50 metres on the left.
